Anyway, this has played out different ways in our house. Currently we are to the point where she KNOWS it is bedtime and she KNOWS she should be in bed while bunny clock is asleep. So she knows she will get in trouble if she just wanders out of her room or tries to play. She also knows screaming and crying get her nowhere fast, so she has tried a new tactic. Once our bedtime routine is over she goes to her bed then will rack her brain trying to think of something we forgot to do. It could be anything from what we talked about at breakfast to something that isn't quite right in her bedroom.
Some are legitimate: "I forgot....to feed the fish tonight."
Some are ridiculous: "I forgot...to tell you I like chocolate"
Some are sweet: "I forgot...to give you a hug and a kiss."
This both exasperates me and cracks me up.
Some nights I just really want her to climb into bed and go to sleep...THE FIRST TIME!!!! Ya know?!?!
But nights like tonight it cracks me up. You can literally see the wheels turning in her mind as she tries to think of something we forgot to do. ANYTHING to get out of going to bed. When she doesn't think of something right away...don't be fooled...she will come and find you and say, "We forgot a couple of things today."
Well Saffryn, you get an A for creativity and an A for effort!!!

I think she is just like my Landrey with the well I forgot's (two peas in a pod)....although my Landrey is a phenomenal sleeper, she still takes 2-3 hours naps daily and sleeps about 11-12 hours at night. It sounds like I am bragging, I am not. My sister and I talk all the time about the difficulties we have as moms. My sister's LO is a hard to go to sleep girl, but she has not dealt with the amount of drama and FITS that I have with Landrey. So be encouraged and know as moms we stick together. I know that was not what your post was about was complaining but I had to tell you my 2 sense anyhow;) Love ya girly!!
