Lets give this a try!

Hello any and no one :)



I have finally jumped on the blogging train and decided to give this a try. Hopefully this will be a better way for you long distance family members to hear about what is going on in our lives...plus what mom isn't going to jump at the chance to talk about their sweet baby!!!!



So what is new in the Mahoney household...Saffryn is now a little over 4 months old. I CANNOT believe how much and how fast she is changing these days!!!! It seems like yesterday we brought her home from the hospital. She is such a pleasure to our lives. But don't let her sweet charm fool you, she is always keeping me on my toes!!!! Now she is able to roll from her back to her tummy and from her tummy to her back. She now does this in her crib at night, which of course makes me nervous! She is also reaching out and grabbing things to put into her mouth...earings, dog ears, blankets, her own clothes, my food..haha. I would say her three favorite things right now are:



1. Crash... She thinks he is the best. She watches his every move. She smiles when he gives her sweet doggy kisses. She reaches out and grabs him. She laughs when he barks and acts like a crazo boy. It is so much fun to see them together! Crash is the best dog in the whole world. He is so patient and just loves to be around us all day long!!!!



2. Music...She loves listening to music. I swear yesterday she was even trying to sing along. Laugh if you want to, but we were in the kitchen listening to my ipod and when I was singing along she made noise too. When I stopped she stopped. It was hilarious!!!!



3. Outside...Saffryn would be outside all the time if she could. Whether she is in the jogging stroller, infant carrier, or on the grass she is as happy as can be. She smiles when the wind blows her face and loves to watch the world around her. I am SO looking foward to consistantly warm weather so we spend more time exploring the outside!!!
