A little family walk

After dinner we took a little stroll around Papa and Gigi's neighborhood. 

He was so happy to be up there!

Time to walk for a bit. 

After a lap we decided to get ambitious and keep walking! I casually mentioned to Saffryn that we were getting close to the area where Dan proposed to me. She was so excited.  She and Dan decided we just HAD to walk there. So off we went. We just kept on walking. 

Colt kept asking to hold Pierce's hand. Pierce agreed and they walked the rest of the night hand in hand.

It got pretty dark! The kids thought it was such a fun adventure. 

Saffryn decided to join in the fun. 

We ended up walking three miles!!! And we were all tired and happy by the end. 

Crafting

One afternoon the kids were restless and I didn't know what we should do. It was too hot to go outside and I didn't want to just throw a movie on. But I didn't have any activities planned. So instead I got out all of our art supplies a large piece of paper and stepped back and let the kids do their thing. 

Honestly when I do this their creativity blows me away. Colt really enjoyed gluing green feathers on his section of paper. 

Saffryn made this pink bridge. She had a whole story to go along with it. Such fun!

Pierce made this shark. I love it!!!
