STATS:
He is in 18 month clothes, size four diapers and size 5 shoe. He has blondish/redish hair and bright blue eyes. He has a few freckles on his nose. It's so adorable!!!
Milestones:
He is starting to sign and say a few words! He is starting to play by himself. He has started showing interest in books and me reading to him. He can drink out of a normal cup. He has started using spoons and forks.
Likes:
Bananas, playing outside, technology (he finds any remote or anything with buttons), cars, balls, Legos, his blue blankey, playing peek a boo, singing songs, being held by momma, he still loves being wrapped up in the moby wrap and carried around
He HATES when he can't do what the other kids are doing. He gets really frustrated by his lack of communication. He has so much he wants to do and say but still lacks the ability to communicate it and so he screams. He doesn't like bath time. He can be a picky eater at times
This little tyke has a very large personality. He knows exactly what he wants and will not settle for less. He is determined. He is sure he is 15 months going on 6 years. He gets into scraps with his brothers and can actually hold his own already. He loves to wander outside exploring and figuring things out. Dan thinks he will be an engineer. He is very quick to anger. He enjoys attention and likes to be silly. He is full of it!!!!
He is finally sleeping reliably through the night. If he wakes up I know he is sick. He takes one nap a day. He is still in his crib (thank goodness. Please stay in it a long time!!!!). He loves water play and sensory time. He is closest to Pierce right now. Pierce can get away with things the other kids could never with Max. Pierce cheers him up and can get through to him. We have started implementing small time outs for him. Sometimes something sets him off and he screams uncontrollably. It is so stressful so we all need a few minutes of regroup time. And that has helped both of us.
Like I said. This boy is FULL OF IT! He fits his name perfectly. MAX. In every way he is the maximum. We love him so very much.
Cute post!! Isn't it amazing how they live up to their names. Before kids someone told me this and I thought "just another lady giving me THEIR opinion" but it is so true, I should have listened more-ha! Landrey's name means "the ruler" and it is so true. She rules this house for sure:)
