Last Few Weeks

In the last few weeks...

-Saffryn turned 3 and had a party!

There were different art and sensory stations for the kids to explore!

That was her face while everyone sang happy birthday! Oh what a goof!!!

Speaking of cupcakes...

We had a fun party.

-Saffryn started ballet lessons!

I love this picture! I love that I accidentally got all 3 kids!

She looks so beautiful!

She looked so grown up.

She did so well. I was proud of her.

-Pierce caught hand, foot and mouth disease (we are actually still recovering)

I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

It was so awful. He had a nasty, blistery rash. It covered his legs, diaper area, hands, face and feet. I think it was really painful. He had a few days and nights of almost no sleep because of the pain. Seriously awful. Praying no one else in our family gets this.

-Saffryn drew her first picture of people!

Can you see the heads with eyes and mouths! Then lines for bodies and legs. She also drew hair. When I asked her about the picture she said, "The daddy is cranky because the kids are being crazy." Ha!

-Colt is cute...nothing new there :)

Blue blue eyes!

Love him!

-The kids found a new hiding/ play area

I now have to wash every pot and pan I own. Lol! Ohhhh well!

And that has been the last few weeks at our house.

Oh and last night all 3 kids slept through the night! It was amazing. Not holding my breath but it would be nice if that happened again sometime!

Cleaning

Saffryn made a big mess of her room.
Me: "You need to clean this all up!!! Look at the floor! It is covered in stuff! I have to feed Colt, you need to stay andclean this up!" So I left her in her room. She came out like 2 minutes later saying the floor was all clean. So I follow her back into her room expecting there to be no change...but she was right. The floor was clean...

That's because she had piled it all on her bed! I had to laugh! Technically the floor was clean!

Those technicalities will getcha every time!

Spoken Gems

Me: "When I am done cleaning we will go to Target."
S: jumping up and down, "I love Target! I love the mall, too!"

Haha...typical girl!

-----------

While the kids are literally running laps around the house
Me: "You kids are wild animals!!!"
Saffryn: "Ya! Pierce is a cow and I am a horse!"

----------

Saffryn: "Mom, I HATE those blue things."
Me: "Uh...what blue things?"
Saffryn: "You know those blue things. I HATE them!"
Me: completely confused "Okay."

A little while later I change the diaper genie (which have blue bags that hold the dirty diapers) and Saffryn says:
"I HATE these blue things! They are disgusting."
Me: laughing "OH, that is what you were talking about!"
Saffryn: "Ya! I HATE those!"

--------

Pierce was lying down next to Colt playing with him so I run to get the camera. I come back to Saffryn joining them and telling me, "Take the picture, I got their heads."

Yes she did! Lol!!!

My Boys

I sure love my boys!

2 Months

Littlest boy is 2 months!

He is not so little though! He is 15lbs 3oz in the 99%!!! BIG BOY! He was in the 25% in height haha! He is wearing 6 month clothes and size 2 diapers!

He is a really good sleeper generally and will have anywhere from 4-8 hour stretches! I am so beyond thankful for this considering naps are no longer an option for me (toddler trouble...lol).

He likes to sleep in his swing in our room. However, he does not like it to be on. The movement keeps him awake. He has always been different that way. Most newborns love white noise and movement, but he has always slept better when it is quiet and he is still! LOL! I think the swing is comfy and makes him feel like he is being held so that is his favorite spot (next to my arms of course).

He is such a sweet baby! Super easy going. He just turned a corner this weekend and has been showering us with smiles! It is so fun! He loves his siblings so much and loves to play!

Nursing is going really well! We finally got a system that works for both of us! He has some mucus in his stools so the PA said he may be slightly lactose intolerant but since he is not fussy I am not to worry about it. I will just keep an eye on him and his diapers.

He is such a fun addition to our family! We are all completely crazy about him! I cannot get enough of my chubs!

The Tattoo

Saffryn has recently been really interested in tattoos. You know...the kiddie kind. Pierce is really into whatever Saffryn is doing. So when Saffryn picked out a tattoo after a check-up from the doctor (how cool is our pediatrician having tats for kids) I made sure to get one for Pierce.

We got home and Saffryn rushed to put hers on. Pierce seemed interested so we (Saffryn helped) put his on his forearm. I let him peel it off when it was ready. He took one look at it then started screaming bloody murder!!! Saffryn showed Pierce her tattoos to try and calm him down. Nope still screaming. I tried to talk to him and make it fun. Nope still screaming. Finally I just put a long sleeved shirt on to cover it. Phew it worked. He sighed a big sigh and seemed so relieved! Silly baby!

I had bible study that night so it was Dan who put Pierce to bed. After taking off his clothes and changing his diaper Pierce started screaming bloody murder. He was holding his arm straight out and was just staring at his tattoo screaming. Dan rushed to put his pajamas on and once again as soon as the sleeve covered it he immediately calmed down and sighed relief!
Well I wiped it off the next day considering how much he HATED that thing. But first a few pictures!

Haha! Pierce wont be getting any more tattoos anytime soon!
